This is the final running order, beside the complete timeline. It was shared within the group, so other radio shows should ultimately meet the same length. If the show was continued, there would have been a section for tweets and social media (that section was originally in the running order, yet it had to be cut, to meet the 10 minutes exactly).
BBC GUIDELINES:
Door-stepping
Whilst obtaining vox pops, the BBC guidelines of door stepping were applicable, since we were taking opinions from public without prior arrangements. if the interviewee was confrontational, there could have been a large safety risk to the crew and those present. To avoid things going wrong - physical attacks, injury from weapons, animals, vehicles , getting corned with no escape or verbal threats or abuse, the crew should be following editorial guidelines and all ideas of door stepping should be sanctioned by a senior member (teacher). Whilst collecting vox pops, we made sure to keep a low profile so we weren't disrupting many people and made sure all crew present were responsible for any equipment and that they knew the questions that needed to be asked. As the producer, I made sure that the journalism assistant was planning on obtaining the vox pops in a safe location where are target audience would be located/sighted.
Producer Job Role:
My role in the group was the producer. This role meant I was responsible for watching over the others in the group and making sure all members were organised and knew what work needed to be done. I tried to work alongside all members of the group so I could get feedback that would help the overall show, hopefully improving everyone's work and performance. In post production, I helped supply the members with the correct material for the complete radio show. I also sorted the problem of the radio show running to the running order, ultimately changing the whole running order to make sure it was correct and achievable for the other members in the group. I gained help from assistant producers throughout so I wasn't in charge of every single aspect.
